The Power Behind the Cure
Let’s talk power. A standard low-wattage UV lamp will flash the top and leave the bottom sticky. That’s not a cure—it’s a false start. Our solution uses a high-wattage halogen UV tube, running at around 400V. That high voltage forces the arc to burn with real intensity, delivering the raw power needed to punch through thick ink films. The principle is simple: more power equals deeper penetration.
Getting the Light Where It Needs to Go
The lamp body is made from heavy-duty quartz glass. It handles the shock of rapid on-off cycles without cracking, even when you’re running hard. Inside, we apply a specialized coating that shapes the UV spectrum. It focuses the output on the wavelengths that actually cure photopolymers. And the R7s connector? It’s a practical, industrial-grade fit. It locks in tight and makes the lamp a straightforward, drop-in replacement on your line.
Real-World Results—and the Trade-Off
In thick-layer screen printing, a weak lamp gives you a soft core and poor wash resistance. With our high-penetration system, you cure the full cross-section in one pass. Fewer rejects. Less rework. But here’s the trade-off: heat. A 2500W tube generates a serious amount of it. So your machine’s cooling system needs to be up to the task. If it is, you get a reliable, single-pass cure—even on the heaviest deposits.
